Hello! We are the General Store, Selkirk in the Scottish Borders – and we are a Repair Shop Project!
Yes, that’s right, finally somewhere you can get things fixed!
OUR MISSION – PORTABLE ITEM REPAIR, SKILLS SHARE, LESS WASTE.
What do we fix? Well, if you can bring it in, we can take a look, with only a few exceptions. And if we can’t fix it, there’s no fee.
We support our repair project by selling second-hand and hand-made goods in our wee retail space. This helps pay costs and keep repair fees down.
We are a Community Interest Company. This means that any profit we make goes back to support our purposes – repairing, keeping things out of landfill and championing our town of Selkirk.
